Parole de Breizh, invites you to discover la Côte de Granit Rose through encounters with those who live Brittany, transform it, cultivate it. These ambassadors are craftsmen, artists, producers… but above all, inhabitants of Trégor. They love the Côte de Granit Rose and explain why it’s important to cultivate what’s essential!
For over 20 years, Escapade Glaz has been a team of professionals with degrees in ecology and sustainable development, specializing in zero waste and marine biology.
Behind it all, “seed sowers” of the ecological transition via a range of activities, each as exciting and emotion-generating as the next… Active in green tourism, they love Brittany and its Pink Granite Coast, and bring you the best of it! Martine Blandin, a member of Escapade Glaz, agreed to answer our questions.
For green tourism
Martine shares the secrets of an experience with Escapade Glaz
It’s the sharing of positive emotions, the human bond, the transmission of simple recipes that makes people happy, the valorization of nature in a playful and practical way. The Escapade Glaz team passes on knowledge about nature and the heritage of the Trégor region in a variety of ways: training courses, events, guided tours, recreational activities and conferences. Escapade Glaz’s area of expertise: the sea, nature and well-being.
What are your participants looking for?
“Human interaction, since ecology is much more than the reduction of activities, wonder to anchor positive emotions but also immersion by being actors in their discoveries …
Why Trégor?
We found authenticity, sharing, love for the area and commitment. For its bucolic landscapes, its islands, its lands steeped in the history of flax and hemp, and its weavers who pioneered zero waste in textiles…
Cultivating the essential
“Cultivate the essential”, what does our motto evoke for you?
It doesn’t take much to be happy, really very little to be happy, you have to be satisfied with the necessities…. A little fresh water and the greenery that nature lavishes on us, a few rays of honey and sunshine.” (says Baloo in The Jungle Book)
Chinese portrait
If you were a color?
“Orange, a tonic, joyful color full of optimism”
If you were a season?
“Spring, without hesitation!”
I love its softness after the rest and meditation of winter.
If you were a word?
“Optimistic by nature!”
If you were a Breton animal?
“I’d rather talk about a plant that lives astride the land and sea: yellow lichen or Caloplaca marina, the result of symbiosis, a love story between fungus and seaweed.”
