Discovering the City of Art

Only a short distance from the sea, the dapper historic town of Lannion is nestled at the bottom of the Leguer estuary. Private mansions, manors, former convent and cloister decline a subtle architectural palette while its technopole blows a wind of innovation and energy on the life of the city.

At the mercy of cobbled streets and alleys, half-timbered or slate houses, private mansions and manors.
The richness of its architecture appears in many details: carved saber beams, caryatids, sundial, houses with watchtowers…
The 16th century Saint-Jean-du-Baly church has charming Art Deco stained glass windows and a polychrome vault studded with ermines. But the emblem of the city remains the church of Brélévenez (not included in the tour), known as the Templar church, which dominates the city from the top of its picturesque staircase of 142 steps!

La Chapelle des Ursulines

Erected in the 17th century, the Chapelle des Ursulines is today one of the important exhibition places in the city of Lannion.
