All year round, Brittany lives to the rhythm of its festivals, so to help you choose, here are the top 5 festivals on the Pink Granite Coast.

Plestival

July 05 and 06 | Plestin-les-Grèves

Plestival is a music festival on a human scale. A convivial atmosphere for people eager to party or spend a rejuvenating musical weekend with their tribe. For our 4th edition, it’s in the warm company of over a dozen bands and artists that the festival will come to life! On Friday evening, house, funk, rap and electro-pop are the order of the day, with explosive DJ sets by Flo the Love, Mandarine, Jeanneto, Le Fercle, May and Symbol. The following day, an evening of reggae, soul, hip-hop rap, house and Celtic rap with Maracujah, Matto, James Digger, Watermät and Manau.


Buguélès Festival

August 9 and 10 | Penvénan

True to its reputation, the Festival de Buguélès promises a resounding 11th edition. On the program for this new edition: Les Négresses Verts, reformed in 2015, the mythical alternative group behind Zobi la Moiche, Sous le soleil and Voilà l’été. The pop/rap trio 47 Ter, best known for their song On avait dit. La P’tite Fumée, a key group on the French book scene, whose positive energies infect every festival in their path. Les Ramoneurs des Menhirs is a Celtic rock band, a blend of traditional Breton music and punk, whose best-known hits include Menez Daou and La Blanche Hermine.”

Chausse tes Tongs

July 19 to 20 | Trévou-Tréguignec

Since 2005, Chausse tes Tongs has been a not-to-be-missed festival on the Pink Granite Coast. Every two years, for 3 days, it brings the village of Trévou-Tréguignec to life. This summer festival, always on the lookout for new music and sound discoveries, fully embraces its alternative and pioneering programming, with singular universes, both recognized and emerging. Chausse tes tongs is also a convivial festival where you can spend a summer weekend chilling out by the sea, with your family… Beach, swimming and surfing during the day, concerts in the evening… This summer, the program opens up the spectrum of musical experiences with Dewaere, Cucamaras, Enola, Cup of Tea, En attendant Ana, Hakim Hamadouche Live, Mokado, Hermann Lopez

This summer, I went to my first festival with Mum and Dad! Under the sun and almost with my feet in the water! Before going to the concerts, I took a surfing course… the beach is right next door! Good Vibes!

Théo Trégor Festival

August 14 to 18 | Trégastel

For its 4th edition, the Théo Trégor Festival once again takes over the Centre des Congrès in Trégastel, for a unique theatrical experience in the Trégor region. Performances will take place over 5 days, as well as theatrical workshops open to all. Program to follow. On the program: 8 shows and 4 intergenerational workshops for the enjoyment of young and old theater fans alike!

Lanvellec and Trégor Festival

October 4 to 20 | Lanvellec

The festival was created in 1986 to promote the Robert Dallam organ, dating from 1653. Over 3 autumn weekends, in the towns and villages of Brittany’s Trégor region, period instruments by the greatest musicians resonate in magnificent heritage settings. The Festival de Lanvellec et du Trégor is a gateway to history, and an opportunity to discover early music and its greatest composers. Each concert takes place in a church, cathedral, chapel or prestigious theater with ideal acoustics.


Mom’art Festival

October 28 to 31 | Trégastel, Trébeurden, Pleumeur-Bodou

The Môm’Art festival, events for children, taking place simultaneously in Trégastel, Trébeurden and Pleumeur-Bodou. Children and adults alike can take part in a wide range of activities. The Mom’Art festival is a unique opportunity for children to invite their parents and grandparents to share an exceptional moment with their family. On the program: shows, storytelling, artistic and scientific workshops…
