The site
As much appreciated by birds as by hikers in search of nature and the discovery of a more secret Brittany, the Bizien estuary was once home to a small port of goémoniers, the seaweed gatherers. Nestled at the bottom of the estuary, we find today the authentic little town of Pouldouran which has kept its charm and its character. Between land and sea, fresh and salt water, the scenery changes with the tides and shelters a specific fauna and flora.
Several hiking trails start from the house of the slopes and flax mills and allow you to discover the estuary as well as the Bizien valley but also a rich rural heritage with its sunken paths, wall slopes and other flax mills.
