The Saint Uzec Menhir was probably Christianised during the second half of the 17th century. Surmounted by a cross, the originally painted sculptures represent the Passion of Christ. The weight of the Menhir, its size (extending 7 m above ground), and the vertical lines furrowing its surface to make it appear like a mourning cloak, all heighten the special feeling radiating from this unique monument. A must!
