This monolithic sculpture, made of fine-grained granite, depicts a horse with its rider towering over an anguiped, a mythological being that is half-man, half-snake. It was found in the chapel of Saint-Mathieu (destroyed) and brought back to the village at the end of the 19th century.
To protect it from the elements, it has been placed in the south porch of the church.
