The Lochrist chapel was built by the Lords of Botil. The presence of a village and a chapel bearing the name of Lochrist is frequently linked to the existence of military orders on the site. The current building only dates from 1852, but the 15th century windows and stained glass have been preserved. The chapel has a blind apse.
