A magnificent oak tree of exceptional size. Known as the Pont Blanc oak, it is thought to be contemporary with the riverside manor house (17th century).
Several legends are associated with it. A golden cross that no-one can see is said to be hidden under the tree. Duguesclin is said to have stopped here in 1363. Another legend dates it to the time of Saint-Yves, rector of Louannec (1210).
Estimated to be between 400 and 600 years old, it is 20 metres high and 18 metres in circumference....
