Église Notre-Dame

The parish church of Notre-Dame de Penvénan dates from the 2nd quarter of the 19th century. After the old Saint-Pierre church suffered extensive damage following a storm on 28 March 1836, it was decided to rebuild a new sanctuary. According to René Couffon, the new church was built by contractor Charles Kerleau to plans drawn up by Lannion architect Lopes and approved on 12 December 1836.
