Listed site that is the property of the French Coastal Conservation Agency. Milliau island consists of 23ha of moorland, boulders and cliffs. Over 250 plant species grow here, and the site is of considerable geological interest, as it is mainly composed of pink granite but also features one of the oldest volcanic rock formations. Guided tours are organised during July and August. Times when the island can be accessed on foot are available from the Tourist Office.
