La Baie de l'Enfer

The Baie de l'Enfer forms the boundary between the communes of Plouguiel and Plougrescant. This small, deep and calm area is an ideal retreat for wintering birds. Indeed, its position protects it from the dominant ‘tobacco blows’ coming from the north-west.
It is famous for having been the scene of a maritime tragedy recounted in the writings of the famous Trégorrois poet Anatole Le Braz.
