A tributary of the Jaudy, the Guindy flows peacefully through the countryside, giving rhythm to the discoveries made by walkers: the Gallo-Roman bridge at Lanmérin, the aqueduct at Minihy-Tréguier and the meandering landscapes at Plouguiel, as well as the famous Saint François footbridge leading to Tréguier. The banks of the river, populated by holm oaks and beech trees, are decked out in white in spring when blackthorn and hawthorn blossom.
