The ancient medieval town boasts 34 timber-framed houses built during the golden age of the Trégor region, bearing witness to a very special kind of craftsmanship.
Whether of medieval or Renaissance inspiration, and despite the fires that broke out during the wars of the League, timber-frame architecture lasted in Lannion until the end of the 17th century, before the final abandonment of wood in favour of stone in the 18th century.
