Adorned with a cross and Celtic motifs in reference to the Breton culture that Anatole Le Braz loved so much, this funerary stele located in the ‘Bois de l'Évêché’ on the heights overlooking the Guindy was designed by the sculptor Armel Beaufils (1882-1952) in 1926. Anatole Le Braz's ashes were transferred there on 8 July 1928 at the request of his family and in accordance with his last wishes.
