Classification of furnished accommodation

Sustainable development is now at the heart of tourism approaches and actions.
In order to accompany this evolution, Atout France informs us that the star rating grids for accommodation structures are currently being overhauled.

    New ranking criteria

    Sustainable development criteria

    A ministerial decree expected by the end of the year will validate the integration ofsustainable development criteria into the new ranking repositories, with their entry into force estimated for the first quarter of 2022.
    At this stage, Atout France is not disclosing the content of the new requirements, as the repositories are still under development.
